Mina隊長
Mina隊長 は、先駆的なの日本のスチームパンク・メタルを掲げるガールズバンド FATE GEAR の中心人物です。ギタリスト、コンポーザー、そしてストーリーテラーとしての顔を持つMina隊長は、エネルギッシュなメタルアンセムに重厚な独自の物語世界を描き出しています。クラシックギターのルーツを背景に、X Japan、Iron Maiden、Children of Bodom といったレジェンドから影響を受けた彼女は、ガールズメタルバンドのパイオニア的存在 Destrose を経て2015年に FATE GEAR を結成。自らを飛行船の“キャプテン”、仲間を“クルー”と位置づけ、パワーメタルにテレビゲーム的要素を含んだスチームパンクの美学を融合させた、その唯一無二のスタイルで他に類を見ない存在感を放っています。
Mina隊長の活動は日本を越えて世界へ広がっています。2019年には Netflixアニメ ケンガンアシュラ に「Megabullets」が起用され、FATE GEARは国際的な注目を獲得。さらに2024年には なぜ僕の世界を誰も覚えていないのか？ のイメージソング「煉獄のグロリア」を作曲・演奏し、クロスオーバーな成功を続けています。バンドはこれまでにヨーロッパ、アジア、カナダでツアーを行い、爆発的なライブパフォーマンスと「This Fate」をはじめとする人気曲で熱狂的な支持を獲得。YouTubeで公開された「This Fate」のMVは再生数60万回を突破しています。
変化するラインナップの中でも不動の存在としてバンドを牽引し続けるMina隊長は、常に新たな航路を切り開きながら、敵と戦い、宝を探し、世界中のメタルファンの心を掴み続けています。
