After more than 25 years in the industry, Shawn set out to design instruments that combined his deep knowledge of traditional building techniques with a fresh, forward-thinking approach. Their partnership was rooted in a shared goal: to create guitars that speak to both vintage fans and modern players. The name “Vola” stands for Voice of Life and Arts, a reflection of the creative spirit behind the brand.
