The 6 string version of the acclaimed PDM model, with a brand new and attractive rose color surrounded by a beautiful natural false binding. As versatile as the 7 strings version and easier to handle for the average player. The PDM J2 is crafted with our well-known attention to detail, in order to provide a top notch instrument. It comes equipped with a mahogany body / maple top, roasted maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, Gotoh hardware, and an HSS pickup configuration with Vola custom wound pickups.

Gotoh Tremolo Bridge
The 510T series of tremolo bridges are Gotoh's pursuit of greater tremolo functionality. It has a low clearance arm system of GOTOH's own design. To guarantee a strong and hard-wearing tremolo pivot point, an extremely resilient chromium steel was used for the bridge plate.
Mahogany Body & Maple Top
Solid Mahogany body with a roasted maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard. The contoured ergonomic single cutaway design allows for comfort, consistency, and a more modern adaptation of the classic T-Style body.
Stainless Steel Frets
22 stainless steel medium jumbo frets and a 25.5" scale length tie together for effortless playability. The durable stainless steel provides longer fret life, better vibrato, smoother bends, and more responsive to attack. Paired with the rosewood fretboard, the two are a match made in heaven.
Gotoh Locking Tuners
Gotoh SD91MG-T-05M locking tuners with thumbwheel locking mechanism for optimal tuning consistency and ease. The reverse headstock layout allows for easy access, making string changes quick and efficient.
Control Your Tone
Equipped with Vola VS-I single coil pickups in both the neck and middle positions, a Vola Fire Ice Humbucker compliments them in the bridge, with the addition of a mini switch toggling series / parallel / coil tap functionality. A neck pick up button opens up further possibilities.
Classic C Neck Profile
The Classic C neck takes inspiration from the vintage stylings of the classic 50’s and 60’s neck profiles. This thicker neck profile offers the player that prefers a larger neck the comfort they seek and the tone and sustain a larger neck provides.
Honestly, such a beautiful guitar! The specs are insane, the playability on par with high end well known brands. Woods and finishes are stunning. I actually can't fault it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND VOLA! Also I have the J3.
Best bang for your buck !
- Neck finish is so smooth , stainless frets are well finished (no sharps) , Rosewood looks good , looking tuners do the job too.
- Concerning the body :Weight is well balanced , metallic pink finish looks better than photos and cutaway/body curves are ergonomic.
- Pickups configuration and voicing are versatile and no buzz ! (Shielded with graphite)
If you are a fan of T-Style Guitare and/or Pierre Danel , I highly recommend this guitar , this replaces my TVL Jazzmaster and I'm happy with it , I just want to continue the Guitar learning with it !

I haven't had a lot of guitar in my life but this one is by far my best. Everyone that have tried my guitar and have tried many told me that to have for example an Ibanez or a Fender with this quality I would have to pay almost double the price.
The neck is so smooth, it sounds great, we have a bunch of possibilities with the mini switch and the neck button.
The tuning stability is completely absurd, I barely needed to touch my tuners maybe once every two weeks.
The factory setup was great except the fixed bridge that made me feel like it missed something (flutteeeeeers) so I got the setup done and the guitar is even better now as you can do flutters obviously.
And finally the word to describe this guitar is just : 'SEXY' the color is perfect and it suits really well the shape of the body, the neck is really classy and the reverse headstock add something BUT the thing that really ends the debate to me is the natural binding it is just perfect.

Based on the recordings, I really liked the guitar. Vola provided super fast, smooth delivery and the packaging adequately protected the instrument. The bag that came with it is also of very good quality.
The guitar brought the expected quality, I got what I expected.
It’s very good. The neck is thick, but I got used to it in a short time, and the instrument became my favorite one.
A true modern Swiss army knife. After re-stringing it (with my favorite) and adjusting everything to my taste, it arrived home, I have nothing to complain about. The tremolo hums nicely and softly (I like it with 2 kicks) and keeps the tuning. Frets are excellent. The execution is precise. Its color is even more attractive than expected, light-dependent and exciting. Its sound is not a vintage wooden sound, but rather open. The body is thicker, 46 mm, which ensures full bending. The pickups are powerful but not overcompressed. I replaced the capacitor on the tone potentiometer for "Jupiter 022mf 600V VitaminQ aluminum foil" type (I put dirt in it). The original is also good (027mf 800V Orange), which in max position provides more bass, a clearer and louder sound, but it‘s less colourful, what I missed, but this is a personal thing, not a disadvantage in any way. I absolutely love it. Thanks Vola!
Recently purchased this to replace my Strat, and I regret nothing. Neck finish is perfect and smooth, fits great in the hand, and the frets are absolutely stellar. Really great pickup switching capabilities, and the stock pickups sound great. Usually I end up replacing stock pickups but I don't think it's really needed for this guitar. Upper-fret access is awesome too, no impediment whatsoever. The guitar is also super light and easy to play, no classic Tele heaviness to be found._x000d_

I'm still pretty blown away by this guitar, especially the price. It absolutely keeps up with my higher-end guitars, which cost double to triple what this Vasti costed. If you want a super modern HSS guitar for an unbeatable price, don't hesitate.
