Back By Popular Demand... The OZ ROA
The Vola OZ ROA makes a grand re-entrance with its ever sought after “Luminous” finish. This one-of-a-kind glow in the dark treatment is a hidden feature that truly comes to life in the shadows. On the surface, its sandblasted black exterior is a subtly haunting preface. Along side its phosphorescent counterpart, the OZ ROA trio is rounded out by two other captivating finishes. The “Sandblasted White” trim harnesses an arctic chill, inversely mirroring the darker one’s aesthetic with refined grain detail. In fact, the widely known Youtuber Guitar MAX just did a review of it, watch it in full HERE. The third comes in its own unique “DSE” finish, a vibrant gradient bursting in visual psychedelia. Side by side, each member of the triptych carries its individual appeal.
The three are unified by an impressive list of specs. A chambered mahogany body offers a notable resonance, completed with an ash top with distinctive grain patterns for every build. Hand-wound Vola VS-I single coil and VHC Humbucker pickups present a range of tonal possibilities, with a mini-switch offering further sculpting by splitting the coils of the humbucker. Tasteful vibrato and sonic wavering are made possible with the Gotoh tremolo bridge, while Gotoh locking tuners provide tuning stability and steadiness. The bolt-on roasted maple neck is outfitted with 22 nickel frets, a 25.5” scale length, and a 12” radius. The Vola Modern C neck profile amplifies the playability. A subtle yet versatile innovation, it offers an adaptive profile that fits many playing styles. With a first fret depth of 20mm at the 1st fret – 21mm at the 12th fret, and a smooth satin finish to seal the deal. The OZ ROA is back and ready for action!
