Aldrick Guadagnino (Klone)

Aldrick Guadagnino has been shaping Klone’s sound since 2012, stepping in as the band’s guitarist and bringing a rich, atmospheric style that’s become a defining element of their music. His playing is all over albums like “Here Comes the Sun,” “Le Grand Voyage,” and “Meanwhile,” where he blends dense, textured riffs with sweeping, cinematic melodies. Whether it’s the dark, brooding passages on “Le Grand Voyage” or the raw, stripped-down tones of “Meanwhile,” Aldrick’s guitar work pulls listeners into the heart of Klone’s sound.

On stage, Aldrick is just as compelling. He’s performed at major European festivals like Hellfest, Euroblast, and Motocultor, locking in with the band to deliver sets that are as heavy as they are haunting. In 2022, he joined Gojira as a live guitarist for their North American tour, a move that underscored his versatility and ability to adapt to intense, rhythm-heavy material. Outside of Klone, he plays with jazz-metal fusion group Step in Fluid, a project where he leans into more experimental, groove-driven compositions.

Aldrick’s custom Vola JZ FRO is a core part of his sound. The guitar is built to handle the dynamic range of his playing, from delicate, reverb-soaked passages to bone-rattling low-end riffs. The JZ FRO has become Aldrick’s go-to instrument both on stage and in the studio. As he continues to find success on and off the stage, Vola Guitars is proud have him on the artist roster.
