I knew I was buying a great guitar after watching all the reviews and videos, but I was genuinely blown away by how good this thing looks and feels in person. It’s honestly one of the nicest guitars I’ve ever played.

I was a little worried after seeing comments about the neck being too thick, but the Modern C profile with the roasted maple finish is incredibly smooth and comfortable. It feels just as easy to play as any shredder-style guitar.

The body feels smaller, thinner, and much lighter than a typical Strat, which I absolutely love. It just sits perfectly when playing. Even with 22 frets, fast runs and stretchy parts feel effortless, much like on some 24 fret guitars.

The pickups sound fantastic, and the switching options give you heaps of really usable tones. I also like that the wiring setup leaves room for mods down the track if you’re into it.

I swapped the volume and tone knobs for black and gold ones and it looks amazing. Next upgrade: adding a Tremol-No.

This guitar seriously exceeded my expectations, and the fact I paid roughly half of what similar guitars cost makes it even more impressive. Shipping was incredibly fast too.

I got this model in the Olympic White finish. It’s a beautiful guitar and probably one of the best guitars I’ve ever played. The roasted maple neck feels amazing. It’s fast and smooth with easy access to the higher frets. Which brings me to the only thing I don’t like about this guitar. I wish it had 24 frets but it’s definitely not a dealbreaker. I was amazed by the quality of this guitar. It’s also very versatile with its pickup configuration. You can’t go wrong with a Japanese made guitar at this price range.

I now have 3 of your guitars! Superbly made with an excellent sound. Beautiful too! I can’t believe you can sell them at this price range… THANK YOU to the citizens of VOLARIA!!!

Great guitar with superb build quality and amazing sounds. For my taste the pickups could have a bit more output and the frets could be a little higher. Also the black dots on the neck are difficult to see on stage. But that’s just my taste. Love it.

Perfect guitar, satisfying, and beyond my expectation. I think my Vola OZ JRM is the first one in Indonesia, and I'm planning to make guitar contents with it in the future. I hope we will have a mutual collaboration Vola, and I'm lurking for Vasti PDM j2 too :D

Hello Vola, OZ JRM is as understood as a specific model for the original artist. So my perception in buying this model is also fair in the acceptance that the JRM model is as close to what i would expect and want with the exception of me going to Vola and ordering a Custom model specific to my preference.
1. the guitar detail and body and neck fretwork is outstanding. The Roasted Maple neck is why i bought this model compared to the other Vola models.
2. The pickup configuration that the JRM offers at this price is also amazing for this model.
I have very limited cons that really are more preference than anything. Things I would like to have done on a custom model for my preference would be:
1. a traditional "C" style neck with a little round profile, then the Modern "C' this feels more thinner like an Ibanez neck, i would probably prefer the Fender "C" neck instead that is more of the natural shape of the C of your hand in position. The slimmer neck in my opinion can allow a more tired grip when playing more chordal styles of playing compared to more lead work.
2. The Pickups in my opinion on the JRM model only i have not tried any other Vola pickups sound a little thin. I might consider a pickup swap. to what i would probably consider what Suhr model pick up? But thats about it as an opinion only. But i feel these would make this JRM guitar that i will use professionally as the best tool i can get out of this model.
But its overall a very good model and diverse.

5 Stars for both the guitar and the company.
The guitar shipped and was in route to be delivered in about 4 days and if not for UPS dropping the ball, it would have arrived on time. This is just amazing.
Cosmetically the finish is perfect, no pips or overspray, I used to refinish furniture so I can tell this is about perfect.
The construction is just about perfect, no matter your style you will be able to set it up the way you want, it plays incredibly well. And as it states it is a good balance between modern and vintage spec.
The tuning stability is worth mentioning on its own, once set up, it stays in tune even dive bombing.
If you're on the fence, feel assured you wont be disappointed in the quality of their guitars.

This is my second Vola guitar. I LOVE the sonic range on this one - it handles ranges from blues and fusion to prog metal gracefully. Tuning stability is good, fretboard is comfortable and it just feels nice. Definitely not my last Vola :)

Amazing, light, comfortable and versatile guitar. Naturally, it needs some adjustments (tone, string height, tremolo bridge and spring tension) -what is common - and all is allright. Thanks a lot Vola!!

Got my JRM in Olympic White several days ago. Been playing over 50 years. I've owned quite a few high end guitars, including several USA made PRS models (1991 Custom 24 and a 513). The build quality and craftsmanship on this Vola are on the same level at a fraction of the price. The neck plays like a dream, assuming you like a shallow neck like I do. Positions 2 and 4 quack just like a Strat should, even when the humbucker is not split. Vola bills the bridge pickup as high output, but it certainly is not, which is just fine by me. My Indonesian PRS SE Custom 24-08 will easily overdrive the clean channel of my Mesa Express+ 5/25 with the gain at about 2 o'clock, while the Vola needs the gain fully cranked to even begin to break up on the same channel. That said, the humbucker is smooth, with no ice pick in the forehead highs. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase.

I typically don't buy guitars online, but took a chance based on all the reviews and specs. The moment I picked up the guitar out of the case I was blown away. The neck has an amazing feel and playability. The guitar was perfectly balanced and comfortable. The in house single coil pickups were very Hi-Fi sounding. One of the best guitar purchases I've ever made. This guitar is on par in my opinion with the Suhr's of the world.
