Hello, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone at Vola Guitars for building such an amazing instrument!
I have been playing guitar for about 40 years, a lot of those years I played professionally in both local and touring bands.
I have owned just about every brand of guitar you can name, from “off the rack” guitars to high end custom shop instruments.
I have to say the Vola MC OZ I bought on the clearance deal is an absolutely stunningly good guitar! Not just a great guitar “for the money” but, rather just a flat out great guitar. I have paid a lot more for guitars that were definitely no better than the quality of instrument I received from Vola! And, it is objectively far better than a similarly priced (or, even higher priced) guitar from the big “F” brand.
The fit and finish are amazingly good. The neck feels silky and the frets are leveled, dressed, and crowned to perfection. The nut is cut flawlessly and, the paint and finish are perfect!
But, if the guitar doesn’t sound good, all of those things are useless, right?
So, how does it sound?
First of all the neck and middle single coil pick ups are some of the most dynamic and “Straty” sounding pickups I’ve played in a while. They sound very similar to single coils on my Suhr (which, as you probably know, is a FAR more expensive instrument).
The bridge humbucker pick up is a lower to medium output pickup which for me is right in the “sweet spot” it is round and warm but with just the right amount of high end to retain note clarity without sounding harsh or brittle. It has that balance of having its own character while still letting the amp do the work of producing the overdrive (this is just how I like my pickups)!
The Gotoh 510 trem which is pretty standard on a lot of high end much more expensive guitars, along with the Gotoh vintage style locking tuners feels very smooth and stays in tune perfectly!
It also, came with a very nice high quality stiff sided gig bag which, to honest seems to be exactly the same one my $4,000 Suhr came with!
In conclusion, everything on this instrument just screams “high end boutique” without the price tag!
If you are reading this admittedly very long review and trying to decide whether or not you should take a chance on an guitar that you may know little about vs. some of the other bigger name instruments (ESPECIALLY a MIM Fender) trust me, this Vola that you are currently considering is right choice! You absolutely will not regret it!

Well made guitar. Neck and frets are nice. Good weight 7lbs 4oz. It is a very clear and bright sounding guitar. The bridge pickup alone does not appeal to me. Only combined with the middle pickup or at high gain do I like it. The reverse headstock looks cool but for me, is somewhat inconvenient to use. Tuning is not that stable and I haven't used the whammy bar. The only build problem is a corner of the pick guard was not cut out well. Overall a very nice instrument. I would probably return it but for the fact that it has some light pick guard scratches.

Absolutely amazing guitar. Worth much more than the actual price. Didn’t have to do any adjustments once guitar arrived. Very happy with this one. If you want to buy a decent strat, forget about fender. Vola is just on another level!

All elements of this purchase were as advertised. The guitar showed up on the promised delivery date, packaging was excellent, and the guitar was very close to being in tune when I took it out of the gig bag. No surprize add on costs either. Whether or not the guitar is ideal for you, there is no knocking the build quality. Its great. No issies with the finish, neck, and the Fret work is very, very good. For me playability and neck feel are exceptional, and the pickups sound great. Bridge balance is really good. No tweaks nessesary for me. These are really good guitars. They are more than worth the money. If you are on the fence, do yourself a favor and give one a try.

good sound & finishing.

I have Fender U.S.A. models. I have G&L U.S.A. Legacy. Both quality guitars. I always wanted a MIJ guitar. Here comes VOLA. Free shipping to my door in 36 hours from Hong Kong to Ohio, U.S.A. Unheard of! Then I open the box an pick it up. First strum and I'm hooked. Clearly way louder unplugged than my other two. It's not even close. Almost as loud as an acoustic. The setup was perfect right out of the box. Just a quick tune up and it's ready to go. For $832 I feel like I stole it. Get it while they last!

This is easily the nicest $800 guitar I’ve ever owned. The pickups are hotter than I like but that can be rectified.

This is the ultimate workhorse guitar. The neck width is perfect, as is the neck shape. Its on the flat and wide side but not too extreme, great for technical playing. The body shape is a bit smaller compared to most guitars. Its also light, I had a Music Man Cutlass that weighed a ton compared to the OZ. Overall this guitar really gets out of your way when playing and makes it so much more enjoyable. Also the upper fret access is nice too.

I am impressed with the fit and finish of this guitar. It is a great value at the retail price of $919 but, now with the 15% discount it is crazy awesome! It includes shipping and I got my OZ shipped to the USA in five days. If you don't take this offer you are truly missing out...
