Introducing the JZ FRO, the latest expression of our commitment to boundary pushing design. With its offset body style, flamed roasted maple Modern C neck, 22 stainless steel frets, luminlay side dots, and reverse headstock, this instrument embodies a timeless functionality. Under the hood, it features custom made Vola wiring and electronics. From a tonal perspective, the pickup configuration lends itself to a well-balanced range of sound. The integration of two Vola VFP90 pickups in the bridge and neck are complemented by a VS-I single coil in the middle position which is activated by a push/pull pot on the volume knob. GOTOH hardware ensures tuning stability and accuracy as you navigate the entirety of the guitar. Available in a classy Vintage White Gloss or Sunburst Gloss finish, the JZ FRO was made to inspire you on your musical journey.

ROASTED FLAME MAPLE NECK
Hand-selected roasted flame maple comprises the neck of each JZ FRO. In addition to the beautiful aesthetic, the thermal process removes moisture and impurities, resulting in stability and longevity. This also protects against changes in temperature and humidity, making it an ideal solution for musicians on the go. The Modern C neck adaptive profile caters to many playing styles. With a first fret depth of 20mm at the 1st fret – 21mm at the 12th fret, and a smooth satin finish to seal the deal.
NEW PICKUPS
The new Vola VFP90 pickups offer a harmonious blend of possibilities, finding the perfect middle ground between the spanky brightness of a single coil and the warmth and fullness of a humbucker. Their responsive nature lends itself well to rich leads and articulated riffs in a variety of styles and genres. With the adjusted output capacity and lower resonant peak, it can handle deeper low-end and milder, smoother highs. The centrally placed VS-I single coil adds to its diverse range.
NEW BODY SHAPE WITH ROUNDED EDGE
Designed with comfort in mind, the brand new offset body style offers a classic look with contemporary features.Constructed of alder, it is both well-balanced and intently contoured.The rounded edge decreases the potential for fatigue during long sessions or gigs.Additional accessibility is attributed to a deeper bevel on the lower cutaway of the body. Available in two alluring finishes, Olympic White Gloss and Sunburst Gloss.
STAINLESS STEEL FRETS
22 stainless steel frets adorn the fingerboard to provide unrivaled durability. Each one undergoes scrutinous inspection by our team of luthiers for optimal playability and consistency. Proper leveling, crowning, and beveling ensure reliable intonation. The implementation of stainless steel also makes bends and slides much easier, paving the way for your personal style.
GOTOH HARDWARE
The 510T series of tremolo bridges is Gotoh's pursuit of greater tremolo functionality. It has a low-clearance arm system of GOTOH's own design. To help guarantee a strong and hard-wearing tremolo pivot point, an extremely resilient chromium steel was used for the bridge plate. In addition, the Gotoh SD91MG-T-05M Vintage Style locking guitar tuners thumbwheel locking mechanism is designed for a vintage-sized (11/32”) and 9.2mm peg holes. The classic SD91 looks with modern locking functionality to provide unmatched stability.
