Simão Gandhy is a Brazilian guitarist who began his love affair with the electric guitar in 1999 and in 2002 became a music student at the Souza Lima Music School, where he had the opportunity to study with great Brazilian musicians such as Eduardo Ardanuy; Joe Moghrabi; Lupa Santiago; Ciro Viscondi and many more.
By 2003 he was already working as a sideman and got a job with a gear music company, "Santo Angelo" (SMA), giving workshops all over Brazil and Argentina.
From 2004 to 2010, Simão worked with a wide range of artists from different musical styles (from soul to MPB), playing in nightclubs in the city of São Paulo.
In 2010 he played with an MPB singer named Giani Torres, in festivals like The Bonito's Winter Festival and The International Water's Festival.
From 2011 to 2013 Simão graduated at the "AVI" (Audio and Video Institute); released his first EP with versions of a very famous Brazilian artist called Pixinguinha, which gave him the opportunity to play at The Bonito's Blues and Jazz Festival.
He graduated in Music Business, where he had the chance to study with Kiko Loureiro (Megadeth).
Simão has attended a course with the famous Brazilian country music producer "Dudu Borges" and has worked as a studio guitarist, sideman, music director and producer.
In his solo career, Simão has two songs: An instrumental country song called "Cueio Manco" and "Coach da Vida Real", where he sings and plays the instruments except the drums.
In 2018, he played at The Blues Kitchen in London and currently teaches electric and acoustic guitar in his office in Dourados - Brazil.
Simão releases an online guitar course called "AMPLIFICADO", produced by AP63.
