Kaspar Jalily

Kaspar Jalily was born in France to an Iranian father and a Dutch mother, growing up with a vibrant mix of influences. He began studying piano at the age of six, later picking up the guitar at fourteen, where his classical training laid a strong technical foundation. Over time, Kaspar carved out his own distinctive style—one that blends precision with creative freedom and has become the hallmark of his playing.
Kaspar’s unique approach to the instrument has earned him recognition on a global scale. In 2018, he took home 1st prize in Rhythm Guitar and 2nd prize in Rock Guitar at the prestigious “Six String Theory” competition founded by legendary guitarist Lee Ritenour. His musical journey also led him to win Cory Henry’s “Trade it All” competition, culminating in a live performance with the acclaimed artist. More recently, Kaspar’s work behind the scenes has been celebrated at the highest level, with Grammy Award nominations in both 2022 and 2023 for his contributions to projects by Muni Long and Adam Blackstone, respectively.
Beyond performance, Kaspar’s dedication to his craft extends deep into the music industry. After graduating with honors in music business from Paris, he quickly established himself as a go-to guitarist and musical director for many of France’s biggest names, including Soolking, Soprano, Louane, Tiakola, Eva, Jungeli, and Bianca Costa. His artistry has been highlighted in international outlets such as Guitar Magazine Japan, Top Guitar, and Guitare Xtreme Magazine. In 2020, Kaspar partnered with Vola Guitars to release the KJM, his signature model, which was enthusiastically received and featured in major publications like Premier Guitar and Guitar World. His work with brands like Puma and Red Bull further underscores his position at the intersection of music and popular culture, proving that guitarists continue to shape the broader creative landscape.
