Vola Designed Pickups
The Vola custom designed pickups featured in our most popular models were designed by our founder, Shawn Cho, and fully built in house with our team of highly skilled craftsmen and luthiers right beside our Made in Japan guitars. An investment in tone research led to a proprietary design that allowed Vola to create pickups that offer a more modern tone, but also still hold true to the classic pickup qualities that have rocked the world for decades.
VHC Humbucker
The Vola VHC Humbucker is our most popular pickup. Its PAF-inspired design lets every player find their voice. Whether you play rock, blues, modern metal or pop, this pickup covers a wide range of sounds. Maintain a consistent low end while clean and crisp highs cut through the mix with style. The Vola VHC Humbucker is great for your bridge or neck position.
VS-I Single Coil Pickup
The Vola VS-I single coil pickup delivers a smooth and clear tone that you want from a classic style single coil. It provides a wide spectrum of sonic color with consistent clarity, precise articulation, and unmatched responsiveness. Great for a nice clean solo or carrying the rhythm with rich sounding chords. Built to easily replace a standard single coil pickup.

Flamebucker II
Exclusively featured on our OZ RV TNC model, the Flamebucker II offers compelling functionality. Located in the bridge position, this humbucker has a well-balanced tonality that compliments a variety of setups. From soaring leads to gentle articulations, the sonic range is even and well controlled. It also comes with the availability of a coil tap, adopting a fusion of warmth and clarity. With a high output construction, it is ideal for anything from solos to driving rhythms, and everything in between.

VS-II Single Coil Pickup
The VS-II Single Coil comes with some advancements from its predecessor, the VS I. With a slightly modified DC resistance, it is intended to complement our latest models. Located in the middle position on our OZ RV TNC guitar, it offers a steady richness that is equally enhanced when paired together with the other featured pickups. The VS-II also comes stock in our OZ 7T. A seven-string configuration, this single coil is installed in both the middle and neck positions, offering unique voicing and brightness to the extended range double cutaway. Adaptable from cleans to heavy tones, it is both versatile and practical.

VDR II Humbucker
Featured in the neck position of the esteemed OZ RV TNC guitar, this ceramic driven humbucker in a single coil form factor allows you to craft immaculate sounds with ease. The DC resistance is modified slightly to complement its position on the body. To add to its depth of range, a coil tap option is offered via a push / pull pot, furthering the ability to sculpt your perfect tone. The VDR II is packed with mojo and provides a distinguished variety to a wealth of tonal options.
