Summer has been a busy season for the Vola Guitars artist roster, with musicians performing across North America, Europe, and Asia while continuing to write, record, and prepare for the months ahead. From lengthy support tours and first-time international headline runs to major festival appearances and new releases, Vola artists have spent the past several months reaching new audiences and building momentum. As one tour wraps up, another is already underway, with many artists heading into packed festival schedules that will carry them through the rest of the summer. Here’s a look at what some members of the Vola family have been up to.

Pierre Danel recently wrapped up a two-month North American tour with Novelists, supporting Swancore pioneers Dance Gavin Dance throughout the run. The tour concluded with performances at the House of Blues in Anaheim, The Van Buren in Phoenix, and Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas, bringing another successful U.S. run to a close. Spending two months on the road gave the band the opportunity to perform for audiences across the country while closing out the tour with a strong run of West Coast dates. With the North American leg complete, Pierre now shifts his focus toward the band’s next chapter after another busy season of touring. It marked another milestone in an active year for one of Vola’s longest-standing signature artists.

Earlier this year, Quentin Godet and Luka Rozaka of ten56. completed a North American tour that introduced the band to several cities they had not visited on previous runs. According to Luka, exploring unfamiliar markets while sharing the stage with more metalcore-oriented lineups created a different experience from the band’s previous tours, but one the band found extremely rewarding. Their current live set now includes the first performances of both “Snapped Neck” and “IO,” balancing newer material alongside songs from across the band’s catalog. With the U.S. run now behind them, ten56. has turned its attention to a packed European festival schedule that includes Helltown Festival, RADAR Festival, Festival 666, Leyendas Del Rock, Summer Breeze, Hit The City Festival, and Mangata Festival. Between festival appearances, the band also continues developing new music, keeping momentum high as they head through the remainder of the summer.

On the other side of the world, Japan-based artist Mayto has continued balancing performances with Little Lilith alongside solo appearances. Following the conclusion of Little Lilith’s UNITED BURN TOUR 2026 in Tokyo and additional June performances across Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka, Mayto’s schedule continues with the Yuki-san SESSION at Kichijoji CRESCENDO on August 2 and Little Lilith’s “GET OVER” one-man show at Otsuka Hearts+ later in the month. Additional solo and support performances are already scheduled throughout the fall and winter. 

Back in the Midwest, Indianapolis artists Joshua Powell, Maciann, and Josh “Bass Mountain” Townsend have all remained active on stage throughout the summer. Joshua recently released his new single, “Spring Break 99,” while continuing to perform throughout the region with recent stops including Louisville’s Zanzabar and Healer in Indianapolis. Beyond performing, he has continued expanding his online presence through music industry education, songwriting content, scene news, and original music. Maciann has been preparing for a summer centered around festival appearances, regional touring, and performances with Normundy, including the Upheaval Festival in Grand Rapids, The Coterie in Kokomo, and Romanus Fest in Indianapolis. Townsend continues handling bass duties for both Joshua Powell and Maciann while remaining an active part of the Indianapolis music community through live performances and studio work.

Nashville guitarist Josh Sneed also spent the season overseas as backing guitarist for Madison Ryann Ward’s first-ever UK and European headline tour. The run included performances at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton before continuing through Manchester and a sold-out show at KOKO in London, with additional dates in Paris and Amsterdam added during the tour. Earlier in the year, Josh also appeared at Stagecoach Festival in California with the Leo Brooks Band.

Florida-based guitarist Adam Phillips has also stayed busy throughout the past months, balancing performances with his bands Indorphine and The Company. A few weeks ago, Indorphine celebrated the 20th anniversary of its landmark album Glowsticks for Clubbing Baby Seals by performing the record in its entirety for the first time ever before a sold-out crowd at Conduit in Winter Park, Florida. The ambitious performance required months of planning, bringing together former members and guest musicians to recreate the album as faithfully as possible on stage. Reflecting on the milestone, Adam shared, “Indorphine’s flagship album, Glowsticks for Clubbing Baby Seals, turned 20 on July 11th. To celebrate that milestone, we performed it in its entirety for the first time ever for a sold out crowd at Conduit in Winter Park, FL. An unbelievable amount of planning was needed in order to pull this off, as the album features two members who are no longer in the band which have vocal duties on a handful of songs, in addition to guest musicians which were also needed to accurately perform the album. All obliged and the show went off without a hitch! Huge thanks as always to Vola for providing me the tools to do my part.”

Indonesia’s Muhammad Herlian has spent the past several months focused on recording, sound design, and expanding his list of artist collaborations. Reflecting on the recent stretch of projects, Muhammad shared: “These past few months have been a journey of sonic exploration. I’ve been deeply immersed in testing the new Genome 2.0 from Two Notes Audio Engineering, and I’ve had a blast creating soundbite demos for its official launch. Throughout all my sessions, I’ve been relying exclusively on Cleartone Strings to ensure the best performance. I’ve also been experimenting with the Silver Boy pedal from Dirty Boys Pedals, searching for unique tonal textures to incorporate into my sound. I am also thrilled to share that I have recently joined the VegaTrem artist family! I’ve just installed the system on my favorite Vola OZ QGM J2, and the experience has been fantastic—I really can’t wait to create new music and push the boundaries of this setup!”

Across Europe, Philipp Tenberken of Avralize has continued an active festival schedule with appearances at Mystic Festival in Poland, Jera On Air in the Netherlands, and Deichbrand Festival in Germany. Looking ahead, the band plans to close out the year with a European and UK tour alongside Allt following additional festival appearances, including Sziget. French progressive rock outfit Klone continues its summer festival run with Aldrick Guadagnino, Guillaume Bernard, and Enzo Alfano bringing Vola instruments to stages across Europe. The band’s upcoming dates include Panic Fest, Volcanic Fest, We Out Here Festival, and Montamusic throughout July and August.

Nadav Knafo of Stained With Silver and Her Last Sight has been getting after it too, with various projects taking off in different ways. He weighed in on the summer's activity: "The past few months have been a lot of fun. We wrapped up our upcoming EP, Nightmare Fuel, and we're getting ready to announce the release date along with two new music videos. At the same time, we're already working on the next batch of Stained With Silver music. I also got to play my first international show with Her Last Sight at GFest in Cyprus, which was an awesome experience. Can't wait to share everything that's coming." 

With artists traveling across multiple continents, releasing new music, performing at festivals, and preparing for the next round of tours, the Vola family continues to stay active throughout one of the busiest seasons of the year. We look forward to following each of these artists as they head into the remainder of 2026.
